 I have been into Addi's many times for a variety of different things. This time I decided to stop in and find out a little bit more information about how this cute boutique came about... And I thought you might like to know as well! Addi's was opened in September of 2010 by Cindy Potts. Cindy had retired from teaching and decided that this adorable shop would be a great new journey for her. Due to the success of downtown Washington, she decided that there was a great market for opening up her own boutique. Other than Cindy, there is currently one full-time and five part-time employees. So, if you are needing help picking out some lovely pieces, stop by and see them!

Come and celebrate the Art Fair and Winefest with us hosted by Downtown Washington!
There are three major parts that make up this event, so there is always something for you to do! These parts consist of the Fine Art Fair, Winefest, and Sip & Savor Sunday. The Fine Art Fair runs all weekend and features a selection of Midwestern artists. The Arts Council of Washington along with Downtown Washington Inc. features exhibitions and sales of watercolor paintings, pottery, woodwork, and so much more! Come and check out some amazing works of art. Admission is FREE and the hours are Friday 5pm - 8pm, Saturday 11am - 8pm, and Sunday 11am - 4 pm.  Winefest takes place on Friday from 5pm - 10pm and Saturday from noon - 10pm. There will be complimentary cheese and crackers provided in the tasting area as well a souvenir wine glass with the purchase of a wine tasting ticket. Some of the entertainment includes Dueling Pianos, Wine 101, Shotgun Creek, Savana, ECC Jazz Band, and Marissa Harms. If you would like to take part in the wine tasting and have not already purchased your tickets, you can click here to get your hands on some!  Sip & Savor happens on Sunday from 12pm-3pm. There are 11 wineries and 11 restaurants with personally prepared food and wine pairings for you! Tickets are now available and can be purchased here. While you're here, you might as well check out another fun thing happening downtown! Grace's Place will be hosting a Classic Car and Truck Show on Sunday from 8am - 2pm on the corner of Main St. and Cedar St.
